Kantje’s Stare Gate

Kantje’s Stare Gate is a willing pony with exceptional suppleness. His trot is generous and light-footed, carrying well forward from the shoulder with strong use of the hindleg.

With his very good walk and strong canter he is bound to stand out. He jumps with great scope and technique, showing that same looseness through his body over a fence.

Lineage

His dam Kantje’s Oraya (provisional “kroon”) was already eligible to compete at class M show jumping at five years old. Her sire, Borgerhof’s Orion, is a performance breeding stallion and competed at Z2 dressage.

Granddam Kantje’s Soraya (“ster”) produced, among others, Kantje’s Loraya (M2, 110 cm jumping) and Kantje’s Athletico — champion among the six-year-old eventers in France and likewise jumping 110 cm. Her sire Kantje’s Ronaldo is a performance breeding stallion and performance sport pony (ZZ jumping), and was named the best stallion of the past 50 years.

The great-granddam is the renowned mare Easter Mountain Judy (elite performance broodmare). She produced, among others, the European Championship pony Rusty (also an approved breeding stallion), the international pony and breeding stallion Kantje’s Fahran and the approved breeding stallion Kantje’s Amor.
